We have two other rentals available on adjacent properties. They may be rented individually or in conjunction with Greystone Retreat. They are NOT waterfront properties.

GREYSTONE ANNEX

Greystone Annex is a beautiful two-bedroom, fully equipped upper level flat (sleeps 6) and is located across the road from Greystone Retreat and available year-round including longer-term rentals.

Featuring: direct access to our private managed forest / wildlife reserve with over 16km of hiking trails throughout; 5 ponds; 5 rest areas (with privies); opportunities to spot wildlife and birds; bring your camera.

Pets (1 dog) welcome. No smoking.

Sleeps 2 couples or couple and 2 children. There is an additional pull-out bed in living room so we can accommodate up to 6 guests in total.

$300 per night

Maximum: one medium/large dog or two small (20 lbs or less) dogs

Harmonized Sales Tax (HST of 13%) is in addition to rates listed

REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT:
$1000 non-taxable, refundable booking/security/damage deposit required in addition to the rental fee. The deposit is refunded to you following inspection after departure.

 

GREYSTONE BUNKIE

This unique rental is ideal for a single person, a couple or a small family with young children. Sleeps 4 comfortably.

Greystone ‘Bunkie’ was, at one time, our travel trailer when our children were young. It has been retired, is a permanent location under shelter and is available from May 15 through October 15.

Located on a fenced-in, 1 acre property surrounded by ~430 acres of private wildlife/nature reserve and managed forest, you couldn’t ask for a more serene and secluded place to enjoy your holiday.

Our private greenhouse and vegetable gardens are located within this one acre plot. The fence is to keep the deer out but is also ideal if you have young children … they can run and play safely (of course, staying out of gardens and flower beds).

There is a private patio with table and chairs outside your front door; a fire pit (with wood supplied) and chairs. Plenty of flowers and a wide variety of birds.

This location is a perfect artist or writer’s getaway; ideal for birdwatchers, nature lovers, hikers, stargazing and just getting away from the hustle and bustle of life.

As of February 2017, we upgraded the Bunkie with new wood flooring, LED lights throughout and a new entertainment system. Wireless internet access was also added.
In 2019, we bought a new pillow-top mattress for the master bedroom; new sheets, pillows and comforter; built a custom headboard and extended bed base for stability.
In 2020, we extended the bed platform and added a custom wood headboard.
