Our group goes out every week to hike or snow shoe and are always looking for new locations. What a lovely treat to find Greystone. Thank you for sharing your amazing property. We thoroughly enjoyed the cleared parking, groomed trails and the luxury of toilet facilities. The views to the escarpment and over Colpoys Bay cannot be beat. We will definitely be back!

We spent 5 days/nights at the Retreat last June. The cottage was clean, very spacious and well stocked with basic necessities. The outdoors had a lot to offer, we spent a lot of time by the lake, and evenings were around the bonfire. Our friends and family had a great time and have booked our stay for a week this summer as well.

In preparation for our May wedding at Greytstone, we originally went to see the place in the dead of winter with about a foot of snow covering everything. We were then able to see more of it in rainy April, before Sue and Tony had even begun to prepare the grounds for the summer season. Well, when we finally arrived for the big day at the end of May, the house and the grounds looked immaculate! Not only that, but Sue and Tony made sure we had everything we needed, including a very nice-looking beech log that we then ceremonially cut in half, as is tradition. We were able to take some fantastic wedding pictures thanks to their hard work and hospitality! We also really loved the fire pit with the seemingly endless supply of dry firewood and the fireplace in the living room provided a cozy atmosphere when the power went out one morning. Couldn't have been better! P.S. the mini rhubarb muffins were delicious 🙂

First of all, we had a great time in Canada. What a beautiful place to stay, and thank you especially for the extras, ie. cake, snacks and stuff for the kids. All the lovely touches made our stay at Greystone Retreat more enjoyable...

Greystone Retreat was above expectations including features and amenities. We especially enjoyed the beautiful view combined with the comfort of the retreat. We would like to see a raft to swim out to. The water and weather were extraordinary. Thank you for the boat ride and another great summer vacation!

My staff were amazed at how nice your location was. They all want to tell their friends and family about renting it as well. So you may expect a little more business over the next few years!

...everything was in great shape. The retreat was beautiful and we all enjoyed ourselves even though the weather was not perfect. We enjoyed the canoe, rowboat, waterfront and firepit. There was plenty to do inside and out. The little extra touches that you included were very much appreciated - everything was done in a first-rate manner and was very personalized. I also appreciated your helpful e-mails ahead of time. We will tell our friends about the retreat. Thanks again for all your kindnesses. We loved it!

We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and actually came home feeling relaxed. So often we've traveled together and come home a little more stressed than when we started. Your Retreat took away all the worries and the scenery and surrounding sounds were the perfect accompaniment.

The spa-type extras -- bathrobes, candles, scented lotions, plate of cookies (and dog biscuit), bottles of wine ... and all the trails were very enjoyable. The Retreat was more than I expected and exactly what I needed!

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much we all enjoyed our week at the Retreat. You are operating a world-class resort! Everything from the kitchen (equipped as well as our own) to the terry bath robes, to the cut seasoned firewood was so well thought out. The homemade wine, cake and jam were such a nice personal touch. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives that we were all looking for - most of the time we felt like the only people on the bay... There are talks of returning next year and we will definitely be recommending you to friends. Thanks so much for your hospitality, we wouldn't change a thing!

We are all anticipating the sunny skies and blue waters of Lake Huron ... copied all of the internet pictures for his parents and they were quite excited. Parents are especially excited that all 5 sons, spouses and most of the grandchildren will be able to attend.

Just a little note to tell you and your husband thank you for going the extra mile to help make our vacation so enjoyable. I can't tell you how much of a good time we had. We love the house (the water was a great bonus). Anyway, we really appreciated everything.
